Travers and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins is now playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne.

This enchanting production lifts audiences to unparalleled heights and places the show at the top of every theatregoer’s ‘must-see’ list.

The Australian production features an all-star cast, with Matt Lee as Bert, Philip Quast as Mr George Banks, Marina Prior as Mrs Winifred Banks, Sally Anne Upton as Mrs Brill, Christopher Rickerby as Robertson Ay, Judi Connelli as Miss Andrew, and Debra Byrne as The Bird Woman. After an exhaustive search, the title role of Mary Poppins will be played by Australian Verity Hunt-Ballard.

Reserve Descriptions

Premium: Full and unobstructed view of all elements of the production

A Reserve: Full view of the stage and all key elements of the production which are essential to the plot.

B Reserve: Full view of the front centre of the stage which is where the majority of the production is performed. The dress circle overhang obstructs the view of some of the flying elements of the show. These elements are not essential to the plot of the show.

C Reserve: Back row of Stalls, the Dress Circle overhang obstructs view of flying elements of the show.

Restricted View: View of the stage is obstructed by a pole or handrail inside the auditorium.

Babes in Arms

All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under the age of two years must hold a “Babe in Arms” ticket, which are issued from Her Majesty’s Theatre Box Office from 2 hours prior to the performance. Children aged over two must hold a valid ticket for a separate seat.

The child must be seated on the carer’s lap for the duration of the performance. You may be requested to be located to a different seat to provide easy access from the auditorium in the event of any disturbance. Please note there are a limited number of babes in arms tickets available for each performance.
