| Access to the Auditorium |
The Stalls section is on the lower level of the auditorium, immediately in front of the Stage. There are no steps in the Stalls. The floor is on a gradual incline so that each row is higher than the row in front. Patrons who may have difficulty using stairs should book seats in the Stalls. The Dress Circle is the middle level of the auditorium. The seating in the Dress Circle is stepped so that each row is raised one or more steps above the row in front. For patrons sitting in the Dress Circle, there is a wide staircase of 26 steps with a gentle gradient to reach Door 4 (front half of the Dress Circle) and another 10 steps to reach Door 5 (back half of the Dress Circle). The Grand Circle is the top level of the auditorium. The seating in the Grand Circle is stepped so that each row is raised one or more steps above the row in front. For patrons sitting in the Grand Circle, there are a total of 58 steps from the street entrance to the Grand Circle (Door 6). |
| Seating Options |
Please note there is no lift at Her Majesty's Theatre. Patrons who may have difficulty using stairs should book seats in the Stalls. Two separate wheelchair positions are located in the centre of Row Q in the Stalls (usually A reserve). There are also two wheelchair positions at either end of Row Y in the Stalls (usually B or C reserve, depending on the event). A single seat for a companion is held next to all wheelchair positions. To see the location of the wheelchair seats, go to the Stalls Plan. Patrons who require a wheelchair to travel to the theatre but can transfer into a standard theatre seat should indicate this when making their booking. They can then be allocated Stalls seating on an aisle to make a transfer easier. Wheelchairs and walking frames can be stored in the foyer by the Front of House staff. |
